Studio Manager/Head of Teacher Training/Lead Technique Developer/ HABITS & Barre Instructor
My passion for working in fitness stems from my joy of connecting with others and finding that we all have something in common no matter how different we may appear. My goal is to make everyone that walks through the doors of Inspire East Cobb feel included, empowered, and stronger than when they walked in.
My other passions are: a great cup of coffee, playing a card game, traveling with my husband, and a yummy margarita 😉

Favorite Exercise: Arabesque (the more glute work in class the better!)
Favorite Book or Podcast: This is a hard one! I love reading empowering female author's memoirs, any historical fiction from WW2, or listening to a podcast from MindBodyGreen while on a walk.

Best Advice/Quote: "Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you
do have power over instead of craving control over what you don't."

My family moved to East Cobb seven years ago from Ohio for my husband Jake’s job. I have three kids - 16 year old twins, Brady and Claire, and 12 year old, Luke. Before having kids, I taught second grade for 7 years. Since then, I have been living my dream as a stay-at-home mom and fitness instructor. In my free time I spend hours each week watching my kids play ALL the sports, spending time at the lake with my parents and of course getting my workouts in any way I can!

ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor
Barre Instructor
Hi! I love being able to blend my passion for barre with my passion for teaching within this amazing community.
I grew up a trained dancer in tap, jazz, ballet, and pointe and danced in a dance company for 7 years. Throughout college I was a dance teacher, teaching ballet and tap to 3-12 year olds. To me, barre is the perfect form of exercise! I love the total body workout mixed with lengthening stretches. I truly believe taking barre at Inspire East Cobb builds strength, poise, and confidence. I am so excited to help others feel empowered, confident, and special through taking barre at Inspire East Cobb!
A little bit more about me: I am a 1st grade teacher in Marietta City Schools. I’ve been teaching for 11 years and I love every second of it! I have a Shihpoo dog named Callie who is my world. I enjoy reading books, taking classes at Inspire, and going to the lake or the beach with my family.
I can’t wait to see you at the studio soon!

I’m Katherine, most call me Kat. I believe there’s a confidence that comes when you take pride in something and I love being able to inspire this confidence in the people I teach. I’ve been teaching fitness for seven+ years, the past five of those have been in Atlanta. I love good storytelling, being in nature, my family/friends, and my main bitch Beijo.
